This Vessel is a project, created to support a beautiful family of potters, whom I had a pleasure to learn from during my research trip in Moroccan desert. While times are challenging for all creatives, it hits the desert potters triple as hard, so I decided to make these cups as a gesture of support and send 100% of profit to the family I learned from.
I don't have a chance to show you the whole big family, as women of Amazigh tribe in that village are strictly against being photographed and it doesn't feel right to post pictures of kids without their consent. But if you scroll through the gallery, you'll have a glimpse of my wonderful colleagues, who welcomed me with such warmth and were glad to share their amazing skills with me. And honestly, were just really cool desert people. :)
Each of these vessels is created completely unique, without sticking to an exact size or shape (that's definitely an inspiration from the desert). Yet, they all look like a family and will surely feel like a set if you purchase several of them.
Each piece is created individually, 100% by hand in a crafting process of around 3 weeks.
All pieces are Stoneware (strongest clay).
size around 8-9 cm x 8-9 cm, around 250 ml.
Please, allow around 7 working days for your order to be shipped.
